Coronavirus In Puerto Rico

There are currently 15 deaths and 378 cases of coronavirus in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  The first cases of coronavirus in Puerto Rico, involved a local man, who had relatives who traveled off the island, and two tourists from northern Italy.

To avoid the spread of the virus, the island will not allow cruise ships or the ferry to the Dominican Republic to dock, and the public school system is close until further notice.  In addition, a curfew has been put in place.  The Governor of Puerto Rico ordered the closure of non-essential businesses which excludes: supermarkets, pharmacies, gas stations, banks, and those related to food distribution. The curfew is from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. through April 30.

Puerto Rico will require anyone arriving on the island to quarantine for 14 days either at home or in a hotel.  It is not clear how that is going to be enforced.
