It has been reported that Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake are set to star in a film called "Runner, Runner" that is to be filmed in Puerto Rico. The New Regency film, written by screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien, is a thriller that takes place in the world of online gambling, to be directed by Brad Furman.
"Runner, Runner" is scheduled to begin shooting in June in Puerto Rico. Thanks to film tax incentives, Puerto Rico has become the destination for filming movies and television shows. "The Rum Diary," "Fast Five," "Pirates of the Caribbean 4," "White Collar" and "The Big C," are some of the movies recently filmed in Puerto Rico.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way Productions, is developing “Runner, Runner,” which is scheduled to be released in 2013.
